From the age of nine, James wanted to be a magician. He became a member of the Humberside Young Magicians at ten, and withing a year had won his first award.

He then went on to win many more, before being unanimously voted into the Hull Magicians Circle. Since then, James has won several prestigious compettions, including being a finalist in the Magic Circle Young Magician of the Year, 2001.

At only 17, James turned professional, performing in theatres, theme parks, and on board international ships.

He ensures his illusions are totally entertaining, professionally performed, and he is always developing new, up to the minute ideas.

James performs both close-up magic and his own full-length show, featuring award-winning card manipulation and some remarkable sleight of hand.
