Since the mid sixties, when The Ivy League first had their taste of pop chart success, the band has gone from strength to strength.

The line up features Jon Brennan (Bass guitar, Vocals); Dave Buckley (Drums, Vocals) and Mike Brice (Guitar, Vocals).

The Ivy League’s unique falsetto vocal sound, blended with superb harmonies reproduce their hits: Tossing and Turning, Funny How Love Can Be, and That’s Why I’m Crying. Added to their repertoire are some old favourites; all of which are bright together with some hysterical zany comedy routines.

This formula has proved successful having been voted the Club Mirror “Comedy Vocal Group” of the year on two separate occasions. Television appearances have included a six week series for Yorkshire television appropriately named Rock With Laughter, and Channel Four’s Unforgettables.

Jon, Dave and Mike each having over 35 years experience in show business, ensure you can always be guaranteed a high quality professional show. They are constantly updating their act making them popular with both young and old alike; because of this they are asked to return to venues time and time again making them the most worked Comedy Showband in the United Kingdom.

Over the years the boys have become well aware that occasionally some audiences like to party and with this in mind they can also produce a show comprising of just vocal and musical content of both past and present hits.

Looking to the future, the combination of cabaret plus a dance set could be just the thing. With this in mind, “An Evening with The Ivy League” would be tailor made for any venue.
