Double Trouble was originally formed around ten years
ago, and toured as a five-peice band under the name of
'Washington Deceased'. The
present day line-up is currently a duo, consisting of the
original found member
Matt
Morris (Vocals and guitars) and his brother,
Ben Morris (Vocals and
keyboards).
DT perform an extremely wide range of songs within their
sets, drawing heavily rom their musical influences which
range from the blues of Stevie Ray Vaughan, to Steve Earle's
country twang, to the boogie woogie of Jerry Lee Lewis.
Additonally, they also pull heavily on Irish influences,
especially with several ballads included in their repertoire.
Such a massive range of influences ensures that all musical
tastes are catered for and satisfied!
The duo pride themselves on playing all their instruments
live, and have ensured that any backing music has also been
recorded themselves, including all bass and drum tracks
included in their sets. This has encapsulated their own
unique sound, utilising both traditional and modern
techniques.
