Emma started out in her home town of Blackpool, following in her mum's footsteps as a professional entertainer and fufilling her childhood ambition of being a singer. Her first season saw her on the South Pier in the
'Frank Carson Laughter Show'.
She has since gone on to perform in Summer Season and Pantomime, appearing alongside such artistes as
Michael Barrymore and
Jim Davidson. Emma is a versatile Pantomime principal, having appeared in various roles, including Aladdin and Cinderella.
Emma has always enjoyed performing in Old Time Music Hall, and has perfected characterisations of Marie Lloyd, Florrie Ford and Vesta Tilley. She has performed these roles in theatres around the U.K and in America.
She particularly excels in cabaret, and has proved to be very successful in this field, working with audiences young and old. Her style and presentation make her particularly suitable for corporate functions for which she has appeared at venues such as the
Grosvenor House Hotel, the RAC club and the
Belfry.
Her experience in cabaret includes working on American cruise ship audiences around Mexico, and has been a resident cabaret for Page and Moy Cruises on the
'Ocean Majesty' and the
'Bolero', completing two highly succesful season in 1997 and 1998.
In 1999, Emma appared in Cottle and Austen's Circus as a singing presenter, on tour throughout the U.K. She went on to enjoy their Christmas production at Alexandra Palace and returned for the last 5 years to repeat her succesful role in the show.
