Lorraine Brown launched her solo singing career in the
early 1990's, prior to that she was the lead singer in the
celebrated all-girl harmony group,
Romany Way.
Having performed extensively throughout the world, the group
disbanded allowing Lorraine the freedom to blossom into a
highly polished solo performer destined for a dazzling career
in Stage, TV, Recording and essentially Cabaret.
Happy in all these forms of media, she has appeared as an
actress in hit British TV series, whilst also recording songs
for aspiring writers and producers.
Soulful and rich, her powerful singing voice is charismatic
and a sheer delight to experience. Whatever style or tempo of
song, her interpretation is essentially honest and open.
Lorraine Brown is a natural performer with a huge
talent.
Joining the cast of the highly succesful Rock 'n' Roll show
"That'll Be The Day" as lead
female vocalist, Lorraine enjoyed continuing success with
rave reviews following her rendition of
"Heartbreaker" and impressions of early
Shirley Bassey hits such as
"As Long As
He Needs Me".
Lorraine has also appeared in performances such as
"West End In Concert", "West End
Showstoppers", and has performed cabaret for P&O
cruise liners.
