I went along to the Waterside Theatre in Derry last night for a concert that had me anxious, for it could so easily have been one man and his guitar playing to the John Denver converted. But your show was so much more than this - it had heart.

Thank you and thank your band for a wonderful few hours of John's music. Thank you for putting together such a well rounded show; the graphics, the good choice of songs and the relaxed atmosphere all contributed to a fine evening indeed.

Good luck with any future touring plans... and have a happy Christmas!!

Great concert on Sunday night 13th November. I have been a John Denver fan since Rocky Mountain High - Have most of his albums including CD's and vinyls. I thought Wayne may have sung the Eagle and the Hawk, certainly has the voice for it.

Your version of Calypso was amazing, I look forward to seeing you guys in Stirling next time.

Wayne, just to let you know how my partner and I enjoyed our night in the little "village" of Langholm on Friday 11th. I am from just outside Carlisle while Susan is from Langholm and I agree with your description. Friendly ribaldry of Scottish and English and difference in accents although just 20 miles apart.

Hope you come again and would look forward to your Diamond interpretations, a real gem.

Hi Wayne!

My husband, two sisters and I were at your show last night. We were sat in the front row. Dayle so wanted to meet you after but is extremely shy. I'm wishing I had pushed her more - She even had her camera with her as she wished to have a photo taken with you - What a couple of doughnuts we are!

We all thought that you and the team were brilliant, and will definitely be coming back next year - try stopping Dayle. And we will truely bring others who missed out last night. The show that we attended was in Paignton by the way.

Hope to hear from you as to when you are down here again. Fondest wishes and keep healthy all of you. - Lesley Tozer xx

Hi to the crew!

I am 17 and have only recently discovered John Denver's music, and I confess I didn't know all of the songs you guys performed last night, (1st October, Worthing Pavilion) but I can honestly say I have never been so moved by a performance in my life. Bravo - it was wonderful!!! I am already planning on coming next year, even if it means I have to travel from university.

I am also emailing to put in a request - one of my favourite John Denver songs is "A Song For All Lovers" and I was wondering if you could possibly add it to your repertoire for next year?

Thank you again for such a magical evening!!!

Dear Wayne,

My wife and I recently attended your show at Fairfield Halls in Croydon and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Your supporting band/singers were also great!

I have long been a fan of John Denver and still have 9 of his LP's from the 1970's. I keep a supply of his CD's in the car... Nice to turn up the volume and sing... and appreciate the words.

In 1976 (2 April) we attended a live John Denver show at the London Palladium for a special midnight show and I still have the original ticket stubs and the programme. I also have a critics write up on his show.

I am very pleased you are keeping John Denver alive.

With my very best wishes and regards and keep up with the shows...

Hi, I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for an enjoyable night last night at Redditch Palace Theatre. I bought the tickets a while ago as a christmas present for my mother who is a big John Denver fan. My wife and I sat next to her and could hear her quietly singing along to every song. Hello Wayne, I felt I had to contact you asap to thank you for such a wonderful evening at The Grove Theatre, Dunstable yesterday.

Weeks ago, when I saw the show was booked, I contacted my cousin (who lives about an hour away) and we decided it might be a good idea if they came to stay for the night and we would see the show together. Well, it turned out, it wasn't a good idea. It was a great idea as we all enjoyed the show immensely had a brilliant evening.

I didn't catch last year's show but I will definately try to catch next year's.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you how faithful you are to the look and sound of John Denver, and it was so good to hear all those great songs again.

I also like the AV element in the show, which seemed to add an extra dimension to it.

Of all the songs you sang last night, there was only one I hadn't heard before. That was 'I Want to Live', and I have to admit that I was so moved by the words and the video that I was reduced to tears. When we go out for the evening to enjoy ourselves, we tend to forget about others who don't get that privelidge and it does us no harm to be reminded of them and their suffering.

What a wonderful idea to give Jaime Lovett a solo spot. Like you say, she has a wonderful voice; and I was thrilled when she sang one of my all time favourite songs, Fields of Gold.

I have loved John Denver's songs since l974 and have almost his entire collection! When I saw Wayne was to play in Leatherhead I was really excited and the show was so good I went to Worthing as well!!

I thought JD would be a very difficult person to emulate and wondered if I would be able to engage but after a couple of minutes there was "never a doubt in my mind"! Now his music is revived in my heart and I can truly say - thank you Wayne - and don't leave it too long til you come "back home again!"

Just to say thankyou for a brilliant night in Worthing yesterday. When John died we thought that we would never be able to hear live performances of his songs again. Seeing you last night night has changed that.

I went to your Worthing show tonight and thanked you for giving me the chance to see the nearest thing to a John Denver concert. He has been my idol for many years and my 3 children have been brought up listening to his music, in fact my son took me to your show tonight and brought his girlfriend along to appreciate his music.

I think John should be proud of what you do in his name, you were extremely good. I was the lady who shouted for "Poems Prayers and Promises" maybe you could do "Seasons of the Heart" and "Shanghai Breezes" next time. Thank you once again, it was a great night. My wife and I had a brilliant evening at Hertford on saturday night. I have been a John Denver fan since the early 70's and your interpretation of his music was spot on. The fact that you covered some of his less commercial songs was great as he recorded a wealth of material that only die hard fans like myself would know.

Thank you again. Incidentally, the next time you visit Hertford could you play for me A Country Girl In Paris from the Higher Ground album. That would really make my day!

With our best wishes to you and all the band,

Hi, Wayne,

I left the copy ticket on 2nd April, IOW 30th Anniversary of the concert at Wembley Arena.

The Wembley date was, if I remember correctly, the second night of three. It was filmed by RCA and highlights were shown on BBC, but I missed them.

I have tried to find the show on dvd, but no luck yet.

On the night, John said to the audience becuase of the filming, "So if you're going to sing tonight, sing well, and I'll try and do the same."

An interesting thing was that my previous ladyfriend and I, when first together, since she liked JD I asked her which was her favourite song, and she said "I Want to Live" which was also mine, but I'd never seen it released in the UK at the time! I got it in Saudi Arabia while with an American company and the tapes being sold were from the states (or copies of). So it was a great surprise that she had even heard of the song.

A few years later, one morning, she woke and told me that as she was waking-up she was hearing JD singing, 'Rocky Mountain High' perhaps (it was 10 years back), and the thing is, I hadn't told her that the morning before I too had exactly the same phenomena, only in my case I think I was listening to 'To The Wild Country.'

I think it was John's spirit gift to us for being fans.
We also had wills that asked that only I Want to Live' was played at any funeral or equivilient when the time comes. All the best with your continued career.

We enjoyed the show.
Best wishes,

- Jim and Carolyn
